About PC's Helpdesk
PC's Helpdesk is run by one person - me.
My name's Philip and I've been helping people with their computer problems for more years than I'm willing to admit. PC's Helpdesk has been around for over a decade and I love that "a-ha" moment when someone has been banging their head against the wall and finally gets something sorted.
I don't like anonymous call centres - they're expensive and impersonal. PC's Helpdesk is different.
First off, we don't have an expensive phone number.
Next, there's just me. That means sometimes I'll be unavailable, but I'll always get back to you as quickly as possible, and I'll usually stick it out until the problem's sorted.
And did I mention that there's just me? That means I know you, I know your computer set-up and I know your own level of understanding, so I won't patronise you. If you're a beginner, I'll talk things through slowly, and if you're knowledgeable, I'll run a little faster.
The service is as simple and straightforward as the advice: it's £15/month to subscribe, and you get up to an hour's telephone support each month. House calls are charged at £50/hour (£60/hour if you're not a subscriber).
